Senior Electrical Engineer

Sheffield (Hybrid)

My client is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a growing team.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be Degree qualified within Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (required standard: 1st class degree (desirable), PhD, or equivalent)
• A very high level of competence within electrical engineering from first principles with the ability to be the technical authority
• A good level of competence within mechanical and controls engineering fields
• Knowledge of hydrogen fuel cells (desirable)
• Experience of working with LV, MV & HV power systems
• Capable of presenting engineering concepts to peers and discuss proposals in detail
• Ability to self-lead R&D work
• Knowledge of and experience of working with relevant directives and standards
• Ability to liaise, coordinate and communicate with a range of audiences of varying technical backgrounds and abilities
• Holding CEng status or working towards this (desirable)
