Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct work environment investigations for a region and segment of FortiveOperating Companies, in a timely, thorough, and objective manner.
- Prepare and deliver investigation reports, recommendations, and corrective actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement employee relations processes, programs and policies to foster a positive and respectful work culture.
- Provide coaching and guidance to HR teams, people leaders andemployees on performance management, conflict resolution, feedback, and other positive employee relations topics.
- Partner with other centralized HR functions such as,learning and development, inclusion, diversity and equity, and total rewards, to provide a systemic approach to employee relations matters.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and metrics, and provide insights and solutions to Operating Company and Segment leadership to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Design and deliver employee relations training and education to relevant stakeholders.
- Due to the close proximity to work environment investigations, this partner will have the unique ability to evaluate and lead opportunities for relevant policy harmonization where appropriate and applicable.
- May assist with global crisis management in liaison with Fortive and Operating Company security, legal and communications teams.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging issues in employee relations and HR.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of HR investigations experience with the majority of investigations independently led across multiple countries in EMEA, and expertise in employee relations and HR
- Experience with conducting work environment investigations.
- Strong knowledge of regional, country, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive and complex situations with discretion and sound judgment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Certification in HR or employee relations, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEI, is preferred.
- Fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: German, Dutch, French, or Spanish - written and verbal.
