We are looking for a passionate and experienced Engineer (Civil Engineering) to lead and deliver complex infrastructure and construction projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with impactful leadership within a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Providing mentorship, technical guidance, and leadership to project teams consisting of engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Reviewing, analysing, and approving engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, ensuring quality assurance, and overseeing compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Supporting business development efforts, including preparing proposals, bids, and fostering client relationships.
  • Driving innovation and sustainability initiatives to create long-term value in civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in civil engineering and project management.
  • Strong expertise in civil engineering standards, construction practices, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in industry tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project, or similar project management software.

Day-to-Day

  • Oversee project progress by holding regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Review technical plans, perform design evaluations, and resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Coordinate with contractors and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project workflows and compliance with local standards.
  • Lead and motivate team members, fostering professional growth and maintaining a unified team spirit.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and sustainability standards.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions and contribute to shaping the company's vision for engineering excellence.
