Gortmore Ltd is working with a leading contractor looking for a Senior Engineer on a RC project in the Luton area.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Have previous experience working on RC Structures, service/drainage installation, etc.
• Must be competent in ordering Rebar.
• Must have previous experience working with designers.
• Monitoring, managing, and distributing project information to several site engineers, ensuring accurate setting out and dimensional control.
• Ensure the works are constructed to the latest design and agreed specification.
• Ensure project QA is being carried out and the site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying/ordering materials such as concrete, rebar, drainage/earthworks materials, etc.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs, etc.
• Must be competent in AutoCAD and reading drawings.
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to distribute project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem‑solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
