The Opportunity:

As aSenior Enterprise Account Executive, you'll be a key part of our assigned territory team, or "Pod", which includes sales, marketing, and business development specialists. Your main goal will be to reach our linear bookings targets by creating, managing, and closing new and expansion opportunities within our primary industry verticals.

You will collaborate closely with your Pod colleagues to achieve business outcomes as a unified and integrated team. This includes owning relationships and driving results with our global systems integrators, independent software vendors, and infrastructure partners.

You will have the chance to consult and educate customers and partners on a new approach to building better commerce experiences. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and supportive environment and is excited to contribute to our business growth.

Your Mission:

  • Collaborate seamlessly within your assigned Pod, taking ownership of relationships and outcomes with our partners
  • Take a proactive, outbound approach to named accounts, and co-sell with partners to create, manage, and close qualified opportunities
  • Clearly communicate the value of our solutions to both technical and business stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough discovery and execute our sales process to identify pain points, impact, and priorities within your named accounts
  • Develop a strategic plan to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual bookings targets
  • Maintain regular and accurate updates in our Salesforce CRM (including sales stage, close date, and next steps)
  • Demonstrate a coachable mindset, working with your manager to achieve desired outcomes

What you need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated success selling SaaS solutions to mid-market or enterprise-level clients
  • The ability to become a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within our prospect, customer, and partner ecosystem
  • Proven success selling collaboratively with multiple internal teams
  • Experience using key sales tools and methodologies such as Salesforce CRM and MEDDPICC
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a track record of successfully closing deals
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Aself-directed and team-oriented approach, with a structured way of working and the ability to see the bigger picture
  • A good understanding of sales performance metrics and a sense of urgency to deliver against assigned bookings targets
  • The ability todevelop and understand complex business processes and models and embodies a consultative approach
  • Comfortable working both in the nearest commercetools office and remotely, as needed, to build strong relationships within your Pod
  • Theability to travel up to 60% to meet with Pod colleagues, prospects, customers, and partners

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience selling commerce solutions
  • Strong understanding of the digital commerce landscape including competition such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris, Shopify, self-built solutions
