Health Lead (Public sector) Enterprise Architect – Senior Manager | Location: UK (Hybrid)

This is a highly experienced Health Lead Sector Architect at Senior Manager level to help shape, design, and deliver complex technology-enabled transformations across the healthcare sector. You will work with national and local healthcare organisations, guiding them through the adoption of innovative technologies, while ensuring robust architecture strategies are in place to meet their long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and advance sector technology and architectural reference assets.
  • Develop visionary, tech-enabled business platforms and strategic roadmaps for health clients.
  • Architect innovative end-to-end solutions comprising multiple technologies.
  • Work with Tier 1 health customers and senior stakeholders (e.g. CCIOs, CDIOs, clinical and non-clinical leaders).
  • Provide technical oversight of multiple projects and programmes to ensure architectural integrity.
  • Mentor and develop the next generation of architects, accelerating capability growth.
  • Drive innovation across cloud, data, AI, and emerging technologies in healthcare.

What We’re Looking For

  • In-depth knowledge of NHS National Architecture, local trust integration standards, and health sector technology.
  • Experience with Electronic Patient Records, shared care records, patient portals, and other core clinical/non-clinical systems.
  • Familiarity with BIM, IoT, Robotics, Digital Twin, and national datasets. Knowledge of national screening programmes is advantageous.
  • Strong track record in end-to-end solution and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams delivering complex healthcare solutions.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare vendor landscape and relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, Epiq, Cerner, SAFe).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with CCIOs, CDIOs, and other senior health leaders.
  • Strong expertise in cloud, data, and AI technologies.
