Crane NXT requires a Senior ERP Project Manager who will report to the Chief Information Officer managing a multi-year ERP transformation project. As part of the ERP Project team, this role will be responsible all aspects of managing of a multi-phased project aimed at consolidating over fifteen legacy ERP environments onto a single global instance of SAP S4 Hana. Crane NXT is a fast-paced environment, where technology needs to run both smoothly and efficiently to deliver desired business outcomes. This role will follow a hybrid or remote working schedule based on the location of the candidate, and travel to global sites as required by project timelines.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Demonstrate deep understanding of ERP project management methodologies and best practices.
- Develop comprehensive project plans aligned with business requirements to drive desired outcomes.
- Work closely with 3rd party System Integrator Project Managers to ensure on time execution of project deliverables.
- Track and report the overall progress of the ERP program, including deliverable completion and sign-off, progress against key milestones, and the incorporation of quality-related feedback from the business.
- Track and follow-up on identified risks, owners, and plans to mitigate.
- Assist in prioritization of actions, stakeholder outreach, & design work product reviews.
- Manage key communications and ERP Project status updates across all levels of the organization to drive impactful internal and external messaging and content.
- Help establish success measures for the ERP project using metrics that include key performance indicators (KPIs), benefits targets, and strict tollgate approvals between project phases.
- Build standard cadence to update corporate and business leadership on program status, including risks, milestones, and budget.
- Create project schedules that capture cross functional involvement and determine the best course of action to ensure project goals are met.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science .
- 10+ years of IT experience project managing complex ERP migration projects.
- PMP Certification a plus.
- Successful completion of multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations.
- Experience with ERP implementation methodologies specific to SAP and Oracle applications.
- Proven track record of interfacing with 3rd party project managers and key ERP vendors.
- Knowledge of process improvement and transformation approaches, including change management, process/value stream mapping, and technology transformation
- Experience in either business analyst or business relationship management role, with a focus on Finance and/or HR applications is a plus.
- Very strong communication and customer oriented interpersonal skills. Communicates effectively in numerous channels (formal and ad hoc meetings, email, other collaboration tools)
