We are actively seeking a highly accomplished and commercially astute Senior Event Manager to join our client, a top-tier events agency renowned for delivering creative, high-quality, and strategically impactful experiences for major brands.

This is not a purely logistical role. We are looking for a senior leader who will act as a true business owner of substantial projects, driving success from strategic concept development right through to detailed financial reconciliation. You will be the central figure responsible for ensuring every large-scale live, virtual, and hybrid event flawlessly aligns with the client's core strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities & Strategic Focus

• Strategic Project Leadership: Own the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the "red thread" of strategic alignment runs through every creative and operational decision.
• Commercial & Financial Mastery: Hold end-to-end financial ownership, including detailed proposal budgeting, strict cost tracking, meticulous budget management, and accurate post-event reconciliation to actively drive and protect margin.
• High-Volume/Scale Delivery: Independently lead and execute complex events (live, virtual, and hybrid) typically exceeding 250+ delegates and high production value.
• Senior Client Partnership: Build and maintain trusted, senior-level relationships with clients, providing confident consultancy and expert guidance throughout the project.
• Supplier & Team Management: Source, negotiate, and lead all external suppliers (venues, production partners) and internal team members, setting clear expectations and ensuring compliance.
• Production Oversight: Translate sophisticated creative concepts into practical production briefs, overseeing technical production, content delivery, and on-site operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a calm, confident, and highly commercially savvy leader with:

• Senior Agency Experience: 5+ years of dedicated, client-facing Project/Event Management experience within a high-calibre events or production agency.
• Budget Ownership: Proven experience managing and reconciling complex project budgets of £100,000 with direct responsibility for profitability (margin management).
• Advanced Operational Depth: A strong technical understanding of operations and technical production, combined with the ability to manage complex logistics and creative content integration.
• Leadership Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure, excels at problem-solving, and is driven by quality and continuous improvement.
