The Corporate Operations Group delivers essential support services to ensure the efficient functioning of Macquarie's operations globally. The team is responsible for providing high-quality administrative, financial, and operational support to enable the success of our business groups. This role sits within the EMEA Operations team, supporting senior executives and facilitating the effective management of our office environment.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our advertised location.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will provide high-level executive support to the CEO/ COO - Head of COG, managing their calendar, travel, expenses, and board-related matters. You will also oversee the smooth operation of the Corporate Operations Group in EMEA by managing a team of Executive Assistants and ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative services. Additionally, you will act as the Office Manager, coordinating office operations, facilities, and technology requirements while supporting onboarding processes and events management.

What you offer

• At least 5+ years of experience in a senior executive assistant role, ideally supporting C-suite executives in an international organisation, with banking experience being highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills and confidence in working with senior-level colleagues across different offices.
• A high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote; experience with Concur and Coupa is desirable.
• The ability to manage conflicting priorities, multi-task, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, positive, and calm attitude with a strong focus on problem-solving and teamwork.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team, including resource allocation, performance management, and training.
• Familiarity with office management responsibilities, including facilities coordination, technology requirements, and event organisation.
