Reporting of the role
This role reports to: Business Director.

Measures of success
In 3 months:
- Create a relationship with the set of brands/clients assigned to you and become the go-to person for client servicing problems.
- Understand the category of clients/brands you would be working on.
- Learn specific client media deals, planning procedures, tools and resources needed to get the job done.
In 6 months:
- Demonstrate leadership by identifying revenue growth opportunities beyond basic media planning (e.g., Content, Insights, Activation).
- Be the strategy lead for the assigned brands/clients.
- Have a full view of Digital executions on the accounts.
In 12 months:
- Be the key connection between internal and external functions.
- Foster learning within the team and extended team.
- Ensure deliveries, offline and online, are executed with minimal errors and on time; write reports of key meetings.
- Help drive revenue growth within the client set.
- Pitch for new accounts or participate in live pitches to support senior management.
- Have a positive impact on client referral ratings.
Responsibilities of the role
- Manage all aspects of campaigns and day-to-day needs of accounts, from briefing through reporting.
- Drive innovative digital media strategies.
- Plan, buy and report for assigned accounts.
- Develop and build strong working relationships with internal teams.
- Mentor, train, and develop the team.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Assist the Associate Director/Director in creating media plans strategically and efficiently.
- Initiate creative and business-building ideas.
- Oversee plan negotiations and media team activities.
- Optimize the buying power of every dollar spent.
- Maintain status reports to ensure efficient workflows and deadlines; write reports of key meetings.
- Lead internal meetings with other departments and mobilize agency resources to strengthen ideas.
- Build a comprehensive media knowledge base and synthesize information into ideas.
- Staff supervision, training and development; serve as a positive role model with a strong work ethic and high-quality outputs.
- Write and present presentations.
What you will need
- Minimum 3 years of media planning experience in media or interactive advertising agency.
- Proven record of accomplishment in execution and development of media and digital strategies for clients.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking.
- Detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong negotiating skills and attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building skills and positive client relationships.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency.
- Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources.
- Technical proficiency with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
