Due to continued growth DXC Technology have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team based in either our Erskine or Newcastle sites in a Hybrid capacity.

Due to the nature of our clients business all successful candidates are required to be UK Nationals with SC clearance or eligible for vetting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide moderately complex financial analysis that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to actively ensure financial analysis needs are met.
  • Handle more complex business issues.
  • Provide analytics to business initiatives.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the company\'s financial processes and a detailed knowledge of the business.

Education and Experience Required

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Ideally have experience in more than one finance function.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good teamwork skills.
