Reporting to the VP Finance, the position is ideal for a Spanish-speaking Finance Manager seeking a leadership role that combines technical finance and accounting with business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Finance function for a portfolio of companies with support from a team of internal and offshore finance resources
  • Contribute to day-to-day accounting for the portfolio, including setting up customer contracts, overseeing booking of expenses and accruals, treasury and banking needs
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, and KPIs for operating companies
  • Perform QA on finance and accounting work product (e.g., review GL postings, monitor revenue recognition, refine variance explanations)
  • Analyze budget-to-actuals, revenue and expense analysis, and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Lead the operational/financial integration of acquisitions and implement financial initiatives from the M&A process
  • Lead finance process improvement projects to drive efficiency and best practices within operating companies
  • Handle other ad-hoc tasks as needed

Candidate Requirements

  • ACA/CA or ACCA qualified (or EU equivalent) trained in audit
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS)
  • Discipline self-starter who can work in a hybrid environment (London office 2 days/week, 3 days remote)
  • Comfortable communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead teams, implement change, and drive process improvement
  • Ability to delegate and coordinate tasks/projects with offshore teams
