Senior Financial Accountant – Infrastructure | £85,000 + Bonus & Benefits | London (Hybrid)

Are you a technically strong qualified accountant looking for a high-impact role within a growing infrastructure business? We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the sector who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their London finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a broad, visible role where you’ll be trusted to deliver accurate financial reporting, drive improvements, and support strategic projects in a business that is shaping the future of UK infrastructure.

The Role

As Senior Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Lead on the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and SOX
  • Manage the statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors
  • Take ownership of technical accounting matters, providing insight and guidance to senior stakeholders
  • Oversee balance sheet controls, reconciliations, and compliance with internal policies
  • Support business transformation initiatives and process improvement projects within finance
  • Mentor and support junior members of the finance team

About You

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), ideally trained in a top-tier practice, with post-qualified experience in industry. You’ll bring:

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS essential)
  • Experience in statutory reporting, consolidations, and financial controls
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical skills
  • Infrastructure, construction, or asset-heavy sector experience is advantageous but not essential
