Harmonic are delighted to be working with a high-growth consumer tech scale-up on their search for a Senior FP&A Analyst. This business has built a hugely popular platform with a strong focus on innovation, user experience, and sustainable growth.

They are a lean, ambitious team, driven by creativity, data, and a test-and-learn culture. Having restructured for growth, they are now on the path to sustainable profitability – and this hire will sit at the heart of the business, reporting directly to the Finance Director, with the chance to shape insight and decision-making at a pivotal stage in their journey.

This is a full-time position, based in London (approx. 2 days per week in-office).

The Role

The Senior FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Finance Director and CEO to deliver high-quality analysis and insight across the business, supporting commercial decision-making and driving growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the forecasting process using a 3-statement model, providing key analysis and assumptions
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on the annual budgeting process
  • Report on ecommerce / D2C metrics to provide strategic and commercial input to the SLT
  • Deliver analysis for board packs, with commentary on business performance
  • Build scenario models to identify growth opportunities and support investment appraisals
  • Provide channel, product, and geography-level sales analysis with variance commentary
  • Support cashflow and treasury management
  • Contribute to process improvements across finance and operations

What We’re Looking For (essential):

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), either from Big 4/Top10 Audit or industry
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience building and managing financial models for forecasting and scenario planning
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A track record of thriving in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Nice-to-haves (non-essential):

  • Experience in e-commerce, app-first, or subscription-based businesses
  • Familiarity with tools like Xero, Looker, or Tableau
  • Experience in a private equity (PE) or venture capital (VC) backed business
  • Experience with stock in the retail / consumer / FMCG / ecommerce / D2C / cosmetics / fashion or apparel space would be beneficial
