About the Job

The Senior HR Data Analyst leverages data to provide valuable reporting and actionable insights to HR leadership and business units. This role is deeply collaborative, supporting HRBPs and HR leaders with the appropriate reporting and metrics to address critical talent initiatives. By transforming complex data into clear reports, visualizations, and recommendations, the Senior HR Data Analyst helps drive informed HR solutions for a dynamic, growing business. Success in this role requires strong technical, analytical, and consultative skills, with an ability to work independently and as a strategic business partner.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR leadership to design, deliver, and interpret analyses on all types of HR data, including compensation, internal movement, and talent, to support informed business decisions.
  • Gather and synthesize HR data from various sources, transforming large and complex data sets into actionable business information and impactful data visualizations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on people data, tools, and resources; guide and consult with stakeholders in accessing, filtering, and understanding metrics and trends.
  • Exercise sound judgment and ensure responsible handling and release of sensitive employee data, adhering to data governance and privacy standards.
  • Use advanced Excel skills, Oracle reporting tools, and other programming languages (R, SQL, Python) to create reports, identify trends, and generate insights to support business priorities.
  • Work independently to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced, agile environment, demonstrating strong ownership, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Proactively learn the business and consult with HRBPs on emerging issues, using consultative skills to recommend the best data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate analyses and recommendations clearly through written reports, presentations, and visualizations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The following are not required, but would be beneficial:

  • An advanced College or University degree in Data Management, Data Science, Statistics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, OTBI, BI Publisher, and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,100 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
