About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Consultant – Hydromorphologist to join APEM’s Water Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of projects including water resources environmental assessments, drainage planning, sediment and wetland management, and river restoration. If you’re passionate about hydrogeomorphological modelling and want to build a meaningful career in environmental consultancy, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for someone who in the next few years is looking to become a trusted technical lead, using your expertise to tackle challenges in hydrology, geomorphology, and river systems. From day one, you’ll be contributing to real projects, helping to draft tenders, analysing datasets, producing high-quality reports, and helping shape restoration schemes. Over time, you’ll grow into a confident project manager and client liaison, supported by APEM’s multi-disciplinary team of specialists.

This role offers a unique blend of desk-based analysis and fieldwork, perfect for someone who thrives on variety and values professional growth. Whether you’re leading hydromorphological field investigations or refining HEC-RAS models, your work will help deliver practical, sustainable solutions for our clients.
