Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Security Focus) - FinTech

A London based FinTech is scaling fast and looking for a hands‑on Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a strong security mindset to help build and protect the core of a FinTech platform.

You’ll take ownership of a modern hybrid environment - VMware, Azure, Windows - automating, hardening, and securing everything from the ground up. This is a chance to shape infrastructure that underpins high‑availability, security‑critical systems supporting multiple businesses every day.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and securing VMware and Azure infrastructure
• Leading CIS hardening, patching, and compliance across systems
• Enhancing monitoring, logging, and SIEM (Sentinel, Defender, Splunk, etc)

Experience:

• 5+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering
• Deep experience in Windows administration
• Strong knowledge of Azure and cloud security
• Familiar with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, PCI‑DSS
• Passionate about automation, security, and doing things properly
• Work on meaningful tech in the FinTech space
• Influence real infrastructure decisions - not just maintain them
