We’re a tech-enabled security services company on a mission to redefine the industry,and we’re looking for a driven Senior IT Engineer with a focus on Information Security to be part of that journey.You'll join our dynamic ITOps team, delivering 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support while playing a vital role in shaping the security backbone of our business. Supporting over 200 staff across three UK offices and remote teams, you’ll help lead key IT infrastructure projects and deliver innovative, security-led solutions that protect TKC from evolving cyber threats.This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong IT technical background who’s confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll bring sharp problem-solving skills, a passion for secure design, and a proactive approach to building scalable solutions that support our ambitious goals.What you getExcellent salary of £40,000-50,000 per annum (DOE)Fulltime, permanent, and flexible working basis (ability to work from home but must have the flexibility to travel into our London Farringdon HQ once a week or as/when required)We offer internal training and development opportunities, all done in an excellent working environmentBenefit from personalised career development plans through our My TKC Journey initiativeAuto-enrolment into our salary sacrifice pension scheme, 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Program, and a voluntary health cash scheme starting at £1 per weekRegular social events, monthly team days, and an exercise club to keep you connected and activeFast paced and exciting role, no two days are ever the sameWhat you’ll be doingWorking with the rest of the team to provide an excellent and proactive IT Support serviceManage and deliver successful IT and InfoSec projects, ensuring that innovative solutions are utilized to provide business benefits and improvements to securityProcessing security incidents and alerts, to allow us to review, respond and escalate to incidents promptlyCreate reports and present to stakeholders, including data from the IT and InfoSec frameworks to allow transparency on the effectiveness of the departmentEmbed in business processes to provide technical expertise and be the point of contact for Information Security questions to encourage good practiceComplete technical assessments (InfoSec, DPIA, Supplier) with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that processes, software and suppliers are protecting our data and embracing cyber best practicesConduct regular vulnerability assessments of our infrastructure, documenting findings and suggestion remediation stepsWork closely with Head of Information Security to manage the Information Security frameworks and support on audits (ISO27001, GDPR,PCI-DSS)What we’re working withDomain – On Prem, Microsoft 365, AzureServer – Azure and AWSHardware – Windows, Mac, Android, iOS estateService Desk Toolkit – FreshService, ZenDeskWhat you’re aboutThe ideal candidate for this role will have:Technical SkillsStrong working knowledge of O365 and Azure, ensuring adherence to Microsoft best practicesFamiliar with security frameworks like ISO27001, Cyber Essentials, and SOC-2Experience using security tools (e.g. SIEM, DLP, vulnerability scanners) to identify and respond to risksAble to design secure, scalable solutions using modern tools — including AIMindset & ApproachPragmatic and business-minded, with a focus on aligning IT and Cyber with company goalsClear communicator who builds trust with both technical and non-technical teamsProactive, curious, and eager to drive process improvements and embed best practiceEquity, Diversity and matter to us.
