Location: Home based with occasional office in Monmouth and Peterborough; travel across the UK as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key UK pet retail accounts.
- Identify and secure new distribution opportunities to expand brand reach.
- Develop and execute pricing, promotions, and trade marketing initiatives to enhance brand performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and category performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Build commercial strategies aligned with brand objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated trade plans.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, ensuring effective market presence.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, sales data, and commercial outcomes.
- Develop both direct employee and broader cross functional team capabilities and understanding.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing UK key accounts and acquiring new customers in the pet retail industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage commercial and financial tasks using a data‑focused strategy for making informed decisions.
- Proficient in negotiation, communication, and contract management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in growing revenue and devising strategic business plans.
- Customer‑centric mindset with the ability to build strong, long‑term relationships.
- Knowledge of pet nutrition and supplements.
