Senior Key Account Manager - UK at AB Agri

Location: Home based with occasional office in Monmouth and Peterborough; travel across the UK as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with key UK pet retail accounts.
  • Identify and secure new distribution opportunities to expand brand reach.
  • Develop and execute pricing, promotions, and trade marketing initiatives to enhance brand performance.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and category performance to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build commercial strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated trade plans.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events, ensuring effective market presence.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, sales data, and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop both direct employee and broader cross functional team capabilities and understanding.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience managing UK key accounts and acquiring new customers in the pet retail industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage commercial and financial tasks using a data‑focused strategy for making informed decisions.
  • Proficient in negotiation, communication, and contract management.
