Summary:

Freedom Professional Services is currently recruiting an experienced Land Officer to join our team. The role is based in Scotland, so candidates must be willing to travel to various sites as needed. The position is primarily home-based. You will work with the Principal Surveyor, providing technical support and management across the business, including feasibility studies and acquisitions for Major Connections and CAPEX projects nationwide.

• Manage land and estate projects technically and support our team servicing Framework Contracts.
• Collaborate with internal and external clients, offering guidance on land access, wayleaves, servitudes, planning regulation, and compensation for project delivery across the region.
• Engage in Major Projects, including operational reviews and client engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You should have:

• Technical and professional knowledge relevant to the role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, at all levels.
• Ability to develop lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Analytical skills to identify solutions to problems.
• Associate RICS qualification (desirable or in progress).
• Full driving license (essential).
