Your role
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Legal Counsel, within our International Vehicle Payments line of business. This position falls under our UK Fleet division and is located in Swindon.
In this role, you will assume responsibility for all legal matters arising from Fleet UK operations, including but not limited to Allstar Business Solutions and epyx Limited. You will work closely with business leaders as a trusted advisor, providing clear, actionable legal guidance while helping drive growth across multiple business lines.
You will report directly to the VP of Legal and regularly collaborate with business lines Managing Directors, senior lawyers, and other internal stakeholders across Corpay.
What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment.
Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
Assigned workspace in our Swindon office
Company‑issued equipment with secure remote access
Role Responsibilities
Acting as a trusted legal advisor to business colleagues, leaders, and senior legal staff
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer contracts for UK business lines
Maintaining and updating template documents and NDAs
Providing template contracts and guidance to internal stakeholders
Undertaking corporate work such as preparing board minutes, maintaining corporate registers, and preparing filings
Supporting senior lawyers on diverse legal matters, including corporate, commercial, marketing, and product issues
Assisting on major projects and coordinating actions with senior lawyers
Managing commercial disputes and litigation in the UK
Supporting product development initiatives with actionable, practical legal advice
Qualifications & Skills
UK‑qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5+ years PQE
2+ years of experience working in an in‑house legal team
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and collaborative mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated and confident in providing practical business solutions
