Overview

I’m working with an exciting, fast-growing Series‑B fintech venture that’s scaling AI infrastructure to deliver intelligent, subscription-based market due diligence tools focused on crypto trading. The team is fully remote, with occasional meet-ups in London.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and Build ML Systems - Architect and develop scalable machine learning pipelines and infrastructure that underpin crypto insights and trading analytics.
• Develop and Deploy Models - Train, retrain, and refine ML models—leveraging Python and cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP)—and deploy them in production environments.
• Operationalize and Manage Pipelines (MLOps) - Own the end-to-end operationalization of ML models, including CI/CD, monitoring, versioning, and ensuring production reliability.
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets, optimize data quality, run experiments and benchmark models using appropriate evaluation strategies.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders - Translate business or financial data needs (especially within crypto) into technical requirements and ML-driven solutions; communicate complex ideas clearly to product and business teams
• Research & Iterate - Continually explore and apply best-in-class ML practices and emerging techniques—particularly around LLMs and scalable AI

What We\'re Looking For

Core Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics)
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in ML engineering
• Solid background in machine learning (traditional methods)
• Strong Python skills; familiarity with GCP preferred (other cloud experience acceptable)
• Blockchain/crypto-related industry experience—or exposure to financial data firms
• Previous startup experience
• Stable work history (no consultancies, no frequent job-hopping)
• Exposure to AI/LLMs (e.g., large language models)
