About The Role
We're looking for a Senior Magento Developer to collaborate with our fast-growing e-commerce and marketplace team. You will play a key role in building and optimizing scalable Magento solutions for global brands. The work involves a variety of projects across Magento 2 instances, implementing business-specific features, integrating third-party services, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (front-end, DevOps, QA, product).
What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and themes.
- Build and enhance REST & GraphQL APIs for headless integrations.
- Perform system architecture and deployment with Docker, GitLab Pipelines, and AWS.
- Customize the Magento admin panel to support specific B2B/B2C workflows.
- Optimize store performance using Redis, Elasticsearch, and Varnish.
- Lead migrations from Magento 1.x to Magento 2.x, including data and custom modules.
- Collaborate with frontend teams working with headless CMSs (e.g. AEM).
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers when needed.
- Participate in code reviews and create technical documentation.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of PHP development experience with a strong focus on Magento 2.
- Deep knowledge of Magento architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
- Proficiency with Symfony components for backend customization.
- Experience in extending GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
- Hands-on experience with Docker environments and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab).
- Strong understanding of E-commerce workflows and order processing.
- Skilled in debugging and performance optimization.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Clear communication of technical concepts to different stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables effectively.
