As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will lead a squad of Salesforce engineers, influencing technical implementations, challenging architecture decisions, and maintaining focus on delivering customer value. You'll develop standalone Salesforce products and integrate with Nutmeg services to enhance customer experience.
Our Invest team is dedicated to transforming innovative ideas into customer solutions. We seek curious, collaborative, and tech-savvy individuals passionate about fintech, working in tribes and squads focused on specific products and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a squad in designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce CRM within the Invest Tribe at Chase UK.
- Manage the engineering team, set goals, support development, and enhance delivery capabilities.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute hands-on coding for key features.
- Set high standards for quality, work ethic, and collaboration.
- Mentor engineers, fostering continuous learning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Facilitate team meetings and retrospectives.
- Work with technical leads on robust, scalable solutions.
- Use data-driven metrics to track delivery and system health.
- Promote an inclusive culture of high-quality engineering.
- Make architecture decisions for Salesforce and navigate governance forums.
Qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in team management and advanced experience.
- Strong technical background and team collaboration skills.
- Business acumen to align engineering with product requirements.
- Experience with Salesforce automation, deployment, releases, and testing pipelines.
- Proven Salesforce CRM feature design and operation experience.
- API integration skills, especially REST and event-based services.
- People management skills for talent development.
- Passion for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with integration patterns, marketing cloud, data modeling, AI/ML in CRM.
- Multiple Salesforce certifications.
