Senior Marketing Specialist Location: Cheltenham Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Hours : Full time. Part time considered The Role The company are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, smart, curious, articulate, and detail-oriented senior marketing professional to fill a full-time position, starting immediately. This person will focus an agreed portion of their time specifically on strategic engagement with a multistakeholder initiative that they coordinate for the pharmaceutical industry, therefore previous communications experience in this sector would be useful. They are seeking a highly competent marketing and communications professional. You will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Management team, other team members, clients and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilies Your main responsibilities will include: * The majority of this role will include developing the communications strategy and plan for a multi-stakeholder initiative for the pharmaceutical industry, for which TDi acts as the Project Management Office. Specifically, this includes: * Chairing and coordinating working group meetings * Setting up governance and approval processes for communications groups and projects * Managing and coordinating partner engagement and approvals * Planning and executing marketing strategy and campaigns * Part of your role will also involve developing and executing marketing campaigns and projects for TDi including: * Coordinating TDi's presence at industry events * Managing and updating TDi and partner/client websites * Managing and executing TDi marketing campaigns including newsletters, social media, development of literature and pitch decks. Please note, that this is a hands-on role that involves writing, design and creation of infographics and video. You will be client facing, which means that good written and verbal communications are essential, as well as confidence in dealing with people at different management levels working in a range of institutional settings such as SMEs, corporations, NGOs and government agencies. Skills and Qualifications * Ideally 5 - 8 years' relevant professional work experience * Ideally experience working on communications for the pharmaceutical industry * Ideally knowledge of sustainability and circularity in packaging * Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders with differing and competing views * Experience in articulating a commercial marcomms strategy at C-suite level. * Experience in developing marketing strategy and running marketing campaigns. * Experience of creating comms assets * A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude (show us) * Skilled in developing pitch decks/presentations. * Skilled in conceptualising content for marketing materials * A flair for design * Experience of Monday.com-type platforms. * Must have experience of WordPress and PowerPoint, * Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and how to maximise views through the development of targeted campaigns. * Excellent writing skills * Excellent time management, able to effectively prioritise a full and rapidly evolving workload and deliver to deadlines; * Language skills: Excellent English-language proficiency essential, a second language would be a distinct advantage Benefits * A contract for 40 hours per week; * A competitive salary, commensurate with experience; * Allowance for professional skill development * MacBook and other equipment relevant for the workspace * 23 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays and 3-5 additional days to complete a passion project * Annual employee incentive plan * Diverse, exciting and impactful work; * Being part of a dynamic and experienced international team passionate about serving its clients to build successful responsible businesses, and committed to corporate sustainability, human rights and social change; and * Flexible hours and possibility to work remotely.
