We are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

• Developing content for a full range of promotional deliverables, with senior supervision where appropriate
• Building an in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts and using this to shape brand messaging and content
• Taking the lead on scientific discussions with the client and external experts
• Understanding brand strategy and ensuring messaging and content are aligned
• Collaborating with internal colleagues, including account managers, creatives, editors and medical strategists, to ensure the seamless delivery of projects
• Providing expert advice and guidance on brands and therapy areas to internal stakeholders
• Staying updated on industry trends, guidelines and best practices to inform and enhance the quality of our medical writing

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant science (essential) or a postgraduate qualification or PhD (desirable)
• Proven experience as a Senior Medical Writer within a medical communications agency or similar environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
