About the role

We are looking for a Senior Medical Writer to work on a large prestigious account. The work would be a mixture of publications and medical affairs, including some travel to congresses for symposia and advisory boards.

Experience across both of these areas is ideal but not essential; what is more important is the desire to work in both publications and medical education materials including meetings.

Here's what you'll be doing:

As a Senior Medical Writer, reporting to a Scientific Director, you will develop scientific expertise in Haem-Onc, including lymphoma, multiple myeloma, lung cancer, GI cancer and other solid tumours, supporting delivery for a versatile team. Core deliverable tasks include researching and developing technical materials, ensuring that all outputs follow written brief, are accurate in content and editorial style, and can be referenced. You will also communicate with clients and KOL on content development and attend scientific meetings.

About you:

• Previous experience working in a Medical Writing role, within a medical communications agency environment.
• An academic background in the life sciences.
• Happy to be client-facing and develop and maintain client relationships.
• Comfortable leading their own projects.
• Keen to travel to Europe and the US.
