The Role — Senior Partner (UK)

We’re seeking a Senior Partner – UK to lead and scale Instaura’s Investment Banking practice in the UK market. This is not a job — it’s a territorial leadership mandate for a dealmaker who thrives on autonomy, ambition, and execution.

You will operate as the territorial head of our India business — with full ownership over deal origination, client relationships, and revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising and strategic advisory mandates for Indian startups, SMEs, and enterprises.
• Build, manage, and grow a high‑performing deal team of Junior Partners, Analysts, and Interns.
• Source and close mandates in equity fundraising, structured debt, and strategic transactions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with venture funds, family offices, and corporate investors.
• Drive pipeline reviews, investor introductions, and closing discussions with founders.
• Collaborate with the Managing Partner on regional growth, branding, and expansion initiatives.
• Maintain rigorous reporting discipline through the Chief of Staff and uphold Instaura’s Signal standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10+ years in Investment Banking / PE / VC / Corporate Finance with a strong record in equity transactions.
• Deep network among founders, investors, and family offices across India.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and close mandates independently.
• Aggressive, entrepreneurial mindset with a growth‑first orientation.
• Comfortable working in a partner‑driven, results‑based structure.
• Strong communication, financial acumen, and integrity under high stakes.

Compensation & Structure

• 25% share on all realized revenues generated from the India territory.
• No fixed retainer — fully performance‑linked structure.
• Full operational freedom to lead the India vertical, build your team, and scale exponentially.
• Reports directly to Gaurav Shah, Managing Partner, Instaura Consulting.
