Role description
As such, we are seeking smart, inquisitive payment experts with the ability to transform the fintech and payments worlds. You will be involved in projects supporting clients ranging from start-ups in the FinTech sector, to major global payment brands. You will be immersed in global projects with diverse multi-disciplinary teams. You will be a confident writer in your specialism and proficient at public speaking. You’ll be client focused and relish customer success. You’ll understand how to manage your client stakeholders, when to escalate and seek support. You’ll be a great communicator and a team player. You will be responsible for delivering successful projects, working autonomously, and using your technical and business skills to unlock the next generation of FinTech solutions.
Qualifications and experience
- At least 5 years experience in financial services technology
- Proven track record in consulting in the payments, mobility or identity industries
- Successfully led or implemented technical projects
- Deep experience of payment technologies, such as EMV, Open Banking, or identity technologies such as OIDC and the emerging W3C decentralised identity standards
- Regulatory experience in the payments industry
- Understanding of technical concepts and practical experience of payments, fare collection and/or identity technology
- Strong analytical skills with a structured problem-solving approach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present documentation and influence decision making
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
