Senior Payroll & HR Implementation Consultant - Managed. Employment Hero provides an HR, payroll and benefits software-as-a-service platform for small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to join our Managed Service Delivery team as a subject-matter expert for our most complex projects, serving as a key escalation point and mentor to others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation for our most complex and high-value clients, ensuring a seamless and successful transition to the Employment Hero platform.
  • Act as a primary mentor and escalation point for the Implementation team, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting professional development.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.
  • Design, develop, and deliver bespoke Payroll and HR implementation workshop content for multiple clients based on best practice.
  • Deliver specialised training to clients on advanced payroll and HR implementations.
  • Respond to customer communications and queries during the implementation within SLA.
  • Build strong working relationships with CX and external teams to drive continuous improvements.
  • Ensure data in business systems (sales, support, project management, time tracking) is accurate and current.
  • Review and improve delivery processes and contribute to strategic continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Focus Areas

  • Operate within a sophisticated Account Management model to build influential relationships, drive growth, and identify strategic upsell opportunities.
  • Transform client satisfaction into advocacy by leveraging performance indicators to create brand champions.
  • Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating internal resources to ensure clients are supported at every stage of their journey.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of implementation and training experience with a proven track record of managing complex, client-facing projects.
  • Expert knowledge of current legislative payroll requirements in the UK.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining learning content to support new products and platform adoption.
  • Extensive Payroll or HR Implementations experience with understanding of implementation journey complexities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with experience driving change and improvement with internal and external teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills to manage a challenging workload and high-volume project portfolio.
  • A passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with others.
