Job Description Summary

The Sr. Payroll Specialist, Global Payroll Services is responsible for assisting in the service delivery of PTC payroll. This individual will work independently as well as in a dynamic team where they will receive coaching and mentoring form the Sr Manager, Global Payroll Services.

The incumbent will adhere to the appropriate accounting for payroll and regulatory compliance with internal controls and procedures for all responsible countries within PTC Therapeutics.

The Sr. Payroll Specialist, will collaborate closely across functions, including but not limited to Finance, Accounting and Human Resources. The incumbent will ensure high level of accuracy and timeliness in payroll programs/systems. Ideally this individual will have an aptitude for numbers with a great attention to detail and very strong Excel skills. They must also maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive employee and proprietary information.
