Our business thrives by employing people who are intelligent, seek learning daily, work independently as well as part of a team, and who feel rewarded by delivering an excellent human-to-human service to clients and their advisers.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswering queries by phone, letter and emailTo meet and exceed on customer expectations whilst maintaining department service standardsTo provide an excellent customer service and keep our clients at the heart of everything we doUsing SSAS-pro and SIPP-pro and other computer systems to check and update records including the daily work logEnsuring the scanning and digital filing is kept up to dateShowing expertise and understanding to be able to deal with:Processing pension contributionsTransferring benefits and/or the administration and trusteeship to/from another providerClosing/winding-up a pension account or schemeProcessing new bank account and investment account applicationsDealing with setting up new loans and on-going administration of theseProviding comments on members pension policiesProviding information to third partiesDealing with property purchases, sales and leasesProviding reports and information to HMRC and FCADivorce issuesDeath Benefit issuesEnsuring the fee management principles are adhered toDemonstrating ownership of all queries and issues raisedEnsuring Compliance and SIP department processes are followed at all timeEnsuring the quality of your work is of a high standard and meets the companys standardsAttending client meeting as and when requiredWorking with your manager and as part of a team to achieve targets and respond to the teams needsProactively suggesting improvements to the teams work processes, aiming to improve client service and efficiencyChecking work for fellow colleagues and recognising good workProviding coaching, training and guidance to fellow colleagues and take ownership of issues identified and checking all types of workBeing able to follow the complaints process and being able to overcome clients objective and deal with difficult situationsParticipating in any project workActively liaise and feedback to team manager regarding staff, technical and risk issuesSupporting your manager and providing management cover as and when requiredAssisting with the reallocation of work with the team to cover absence and to ensuring service standards are metDisplaying a positive attitude while working in a team environment including participation at team meetingsParticipating in ad hoc tasks when requiredYour ProfileEssential:Significant experience administering SSAS or SIPP schemesA positive, can-do attitude and takes pride in workOrganised methodical and logical approach to portfolio management and problem solvingAbility to apply a common-sense approach to situationsGood time management skillsAbility to work as part of a team but also on own initiativeExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Grade C/6 or above GCSE equivelant in Maths and EnglishAbility to see the bigger picturePays attention to detailProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and OutlookDesirable:Ability to lead by exampleOwns problemsWhat We OfferEnjoy a competitive salary, annual discretionary bonus, and 25 days holiday with buy/sell flexibility.
