The role involves prioritising day-to-day workload, supporting the Administration Manager to ensure smooth team operation, and contributing to client service and process improvement. Responsibilities
- Ensure an effective pension administration service is provided to all clients
- Ensure client work is completed within SLAs and deadlines
- Handle more complex pension tasks such as calculations and scheme project work
- Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of clients, including trustees and senior scheme members
- Participate in annual projects such as renewals, benefit statements and pension increases
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues
- Provide input regarding process and procedural change
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes
- Ability to perform a range of complex calculations (e.g., leavers, retirements, deaths, and transfers in/out)
- Approximately 3+ years of technical experience from a third-party or in-house environment
- Strong numeracy, communication, and organisation skills
