What You’ll Be Doing:
Provide supervision and expert guidance to a small team of social care staff, ensuring high-quality, reflective practice.
Manage a complex caseload, offering specialist support in high-risk or sensitive situations.
Promote team development through training, coaching, and mentoring initiatives.
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to drive positive change and service improvement.
Ensure compliance with legislation, local policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Represent the local authority in case conferences, court proceedings, and strategic meetings.
Contribute to service design and project work, promoting creative solutions that enhance outcomes.
Deliver person-centred care by addressing the holistic needs of children, carers, and families.
A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Significant post-qualification experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role within children’s or family services.
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support others in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of legislation, court processes, and care planning frameworks.
