This is a key leadership opportunity for a specialist who can drive compliance, safety, and quality across a portfolio of complex and high-risk construction projects, including Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).OverviewAs Senior Principal Designer, you’ll take the lead on design compliance under the Building Safety Act 2022, ensuring robust standards across all stages of design and delivery. You’ll guide clients, engage with regulators, and champion best practice in building safety and regulatory design.Key ResponsibilitiesLead design compliance and coordination on major and HRB projects.Advise clients and design teams on regulatory risks and responsibilities.Oversee the Golden Thread of Information and Gateway submissions.Liaise with the Building Safety Regulator and Building Control.Review, challenge, and validate design outputs for regulatory integrity.Mentor junior designers and promote continuous improvement.About YouProven experience in regulatory design compliance within complex or high-risk projects.Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations.Skilled at engaging with multi-disciplinary teams and statutory bodies.Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Building Surveying.Chartered membership (e.g. RIBA, RICS, CIOB, IStructE, or CIBSE).Advantageous: experience with BIM Level 2 and digital compliance systems.The OpportunityA senior leadership role offering real influence over building safety and compliance standards, with the flexibility to shape best practice in a forward-thinking environment.To apply, please forward an updated CV directly to the advertisement or contact Danielle Lenman to discuss further. #J-18808-Ljbffr
