Exactera is seeking a strategic, customer-focused Senior Product Manager for Core Products. This role owns the strategy and execution for Exactera’s foundational tax products, including Transfer Pricing, Provision, and R&D Tax Credits. These products are the company’s largest revenue drivers and directly impact the value delivered to customers.

Role Overview

As Senior Product Manager, Core Products, you will own the strategy and execution for Exactera’s foundational tax products. You will lead customer engagement and market leadership to ensure products are trusted, adopted, and continuously improved based on market insights. You will drive initiatives across activation, retention, and monetization, defining product priorities and collaborating with design, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to maximize customer value.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term product strategy for Exactera’s Core Products, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Leverage market intelligence and customer feedback to refine product vision and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance trust, transparency, and education within the product experience.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to improve activation, retention, and monetization strategies.
  • Establish customer advisory councils and user engagement programs to capture insights and build advocacy.
  • Develop and implement feedback loops to ensure customer insights drive product decisions and improvements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to position Exactera as the go-to platform for tax professionals.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure go-to-market strategies effectively drive adoption.
  • Partner with design and engineering to build high-impact product experiences that simplify complex tax processes and maximize usability.
  • Lead customer education by developing clear documentation, onboarding experiences, and training resources.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure product success and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Optimize product performance by experimentation, iteration, and leveraging insights to enhance adoption and satisfaction.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, with 3+ years of leadership experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a startup environment.
  • Proven expertise in community management, customer trust-building, and education strategies within a product-led environment.
  • Strong market intelligence and research skills—you know how to gather, interpret, and act on customer and industry insights.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives that drive impact across an organization.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders through exceptional communication and leadership.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing strategic vision and tactical execution.
