Job Title: Senior Product Manager – Linaro Forge
Location: UK
About Us
Linaro is a leader in High Performance Computing (HPC) debugging and profiling tools. Our flagship product, Linaro Forge, is the go-to solution for software engineers working on the world’s most advanced computing systems. As we continue to lead in HPC, we are also looking to expand into emerging markets such as cloud computing, automotive compute, Machine Learning (ML), and AI. To drive this expansion and maintain our leadership, we are hiring a versatile and strategic Senior Product Manager.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the CTO office and act as a key liaison between Engineering, Sales, and our partners and customers. You will be responsible for both strengthening our core HPC offerings and driving strategic expansion into adjacent markets. This role requires a strong market-driven mindset, as well as experience in taking software solutions that are mature in one domain and successfully positioning them for new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product strategy for Linaro Forge in both existing (HPC) and new markets (cloud, ML, AI, automotive).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product expansion and differentiation.
- Work closely with Engineering to prioritize feature development and create detailed requirements for these features, based on customer feedback and industry needs.
- Develop business cases for expansion into new markets and drive the execution of those strategies.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that our product roadmap aligns with market demands and growth objectives.
- Liaise with key customers and partners on what direction they expect to see our product evolve, identify and drive strategic partnerships.
- Lead the investigation of new opportunities, including cloud-based solutions, and ML workloads, providing structure and focus to these initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Pre-sales teams to ensure effective product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
- Represent Linaro at multiple industry events, often as a technical speaker.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in software, preferably in HPC, cloud, or ML. At least 5 years of experience such as HPC practitioner and at least 5 years as a technical product manager is a plus.
- A track record of successfully expanding software solutions from a mature market into new markets.
- Strong technical understanding of debugging, profiling, or performance engineering tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision with immediate execution.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams, particularly with Engineering, Sales, and Pre-sales.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Play a key role in shaping the future of Linaro Forge and expanding its impact beyond HPC.
- Work in a highly technical environment with a team passionate about innovation and problem-solving.
- Be part of a company that values collaboration, customer focus, and cutting-edge technology.
- Remote work flexibility, with opportunities to travel as needed.
