Senior Product Manager

New Today

Our client is a leading digital service design consultancy that partners with public and private sector organisations to deliver high-impact transformation programmes. They specialise in building user-centred digital products and services, with a clear mission to leave a lasting legacy of value, capability, and positive change.

Locations: Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol, Birmingham, London

Work pattern: Up to 2 days per week on-site (flexible based on client need)

As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver user-centred products within complex transformation programmes. You’ll bring clarity, structure, and leadership to product delivery while building capability in others. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and requires both strong delivery focus and the ability to mentor and influence at senior levels.

The Role

  • Define product vision, translate into roadmaps and backlogs, and manage delivery across multiple teams.
  • Lead and inspire colleagues, coaching them on agile ways of working and product best practice.
  • Build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups while protecting teams from distraction.
  • Ensure measurable outcomes are in place, keeping delivery aligned to user needs and organisational goals.
  • Act as a trusted consultant, shaping approaches and outcomes with senior client stakeholders.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at Senior Consultant level or equivalent.
  • Proven background in consulting, with strong experience in the public sector (GDS standards).
  • Deep expertise in product management — not blended roles.
  • Strong advocate of user-centred design.
  • Experience mentoring or line-managing others.
  • Able to flex between delivery and advisory work, adapting to different client environments.

Package

  • Salary up to £72,000 (up to £81,000 in London).
  • 25 days holiday + public holidays.
  • Perkbox benefits and discounts.
  • Life assurance and flexible benefits (private healthcare, extra holiday, wellbeing allowance, etc.).

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
