The UK&I energy sector is undergoing a seismic shift. Surging demand, stricter regulations, and ambitious net-zero goals are driving groundbreaking innovation. We are seeking Senior Project Managers with energy sector experience to join us in our UK offices. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across technical disciplines with clients nationwide. Projects may include energy from waste, solar, interconnectors, windfarms, substations, OHL, energy building design, protection systems, LVAC, pump stations, and more. You will join a growing and collaborative team, partnering with a range of clients to deliver innovative and sustainable projects addressing industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges. This role supports the UK energy transition.

Responsibilities

As a Project or Senior Project Manager you will:

  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build close relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success and manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout while leading high-performing project teams and fostering collaboration and clear communication.

About You

  • You ideally hold a degree in a relevant field; APMP qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Experience in project management within the energy/engineering consultancy sector, with experience in project setup and financial monitoring processes including coordinating with Project Managers for proposals, change orders, status reports, financial updates and forecasting. Experience with NEC contracts is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-team environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail; initiative in problem detection and resolution; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to prioritize and multitask between multiple project managers.
