An up-and-coming Construction Consultancy located in Southampton is looking for a motivated and client-facing Senior Project Manager who has experience working for a Construction Consultancy and exposure to delivering schemes in the Residential sector from inception to completion.

The Company that the Senior Project Manager will join: an employee-first Construction Consultancy with a dynamic, close-knit team known for delivering schemes within the Residential sector. The schemes are New Builds and Refurbishments, with contract values of 15m+.

The Senior Project Manager role: The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of high-value schemes within the Residential sector, collaborating with the team and external parties throughout all stages of the project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Projects are located in London and the Southeast; the Senior Project Manager will attend the Southampton office weekly.

You will be responsible for:

• Running current/upcoming projects from design through construction phase
• Communicating effectively with internal and external parties to ensure projects are progressing
• Liaising with Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to resolve challenges
• Reporting progress and feedback to Associate Directors and major stakeholders
• Reviewing costs regularly to keep schemes within budget
• Facilitating meetings with clients
• Ensuring all works comply with safety and quality standards

Senior Project Manager requirements:

• Previous experience working for a Construction Consultancy
• Knowledge of the Residential sector
• MRICS or MAPM Chartered is preferred
• A relevant BSc/MSc in Construction would be ideal
• Ability to manage multiple schemes simultaneously
• Passion/interest in managing a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
