Maywins Ltd is a fit-out and refurbishment contractor specialising within healthcare and education sectors. As we expand our project management team and take on high-value projects, we’re looking for an experiencedSenior Project Managerto drive efficiency, and enhance client relationships. Regional expansion expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the standard of exceptional customer service and delivery
- Lead a small team and implement best practices to elevate project management standards
- Build and strengthen both existing and new client relationships at a senior level.
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.
- Drive process improvements to increase profit margins.
- Recruit and nurture junior talent within the team.
- Oversee project performance, quality, and team development through training and mentorship.
- Personally manage high-value projects, setting the benchmark for planning, coordination, and client engagement.
- Implement risk management strategies, contingency planning, and clear client communication.
- Conduct quality assurance through on-site inspections.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, contractor selection, and appointment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Ambitious and eager to grow with the business, with the opportunity of promotion into a Project Director role.
- Strong existing relationships within the industry.
- Proven experience managing and expanding client relationships.
- Track record of successfully construction Project Management.
- Commercially astute, with a focus on monitoring and improving profit margins.
- Willing to travel nationally to suit the regional expansion of the business.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a senior project manager within fit-out and refurbishment including M&E.
- Working towards or possessing RICS, MCIOB, or similar professional qualifications.
- Adaptable to both on-site and office environments.
- Competent preparing site documentation (CDM, RAMS).
- Strong multitasking and workload prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management.
