IPS Group is working with a global brand with a well-established presence across the UK. They are committed to growing and developing their Property and Casualty offerings in the UK, especially in the midmarket segment. They are seeking two experienced property & casualty underwriters to join their team in Chelmsford / surrounding areas.

The Role/Team:

This role involves managing property and casualty policies across the midmarket sector. The business has a diverse appetite, writing risks as combined packages or singular policies, with premiums ranging from £25k upwards, including more complex cases. You will be part of a team with varied experience, providing opportunities to learn and support colleagues. If you are a technical underwriter who also values broker relationship management, this role will suit you.

Required Skills/Experience:

We are interested in candidates with experience handling both new and existing business, either with insurers or within an MGA with Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA). Experience in Commercial Combined or single commercial policy lines is desirable.
