Hiring Manager & Reporting into: Head of Product
We are looking for a full-time Senior QA Analyst / QA Lead who must be based in the United Kingdom and is eager to play a key role in maturing our QA function for our rapidly evolving SaaS platform at Rootshell Security.
This position is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in SaaS QA who is looking to step into a leadership role, contribute to building out automation capabilities, and implement scalable QA processes across our product suite. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to uphold high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement across testing operations.
Roleresponsibilities
The Senior QA Analyst / QA Lead will be responsible for helping evolve and lead the quality assurance strategy for Rootshell Security’s SaaS platform. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Designing and implementing scalable QA processes that fit seamlessly within Agile workflows
- Driving the development and maintenance of automated test suites using tools such as Autify (or similar)
- Working closely with developers, product managers, and support to ensure quality from concept to release
- Creating and managing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on feature requirements
- Identifying, logging, and managing defects throughout the development cycle
- Supporting release cycles by owning QA sign-off procedures
- Promoting a culture of quality throughout the engineering and product teams
- Mentoring and supporting junior QA team members as the team scales
Skills we are looking for
The following qualifications, skills, and experience are essential to being successful in this role:
- 3–5 years of QA experience in SaaS or cloud-based environments
- Hands-on experience with modern test automation tools such as Autify, Selenium, or similar
- Strong understanding of QA best practices, software development lifecycles, and Agile methodologies
- Ability to write clear and concise test documentation and defect reports
- Comfortable collaborating with remote and cross-functional teams
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and outcomes
- Prior experience with CI/CD tools and workflows is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with penetration testing or cybersecurity platforms is a bonus, but not required
