Senior QA Engineer
Are you a detail‑oriented QA professional who loves ensuring quality across complex, high‑traffic systems?
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer to join a fast‑growing travel technology company building cutting‑edge booking systems for major clients in the travel and leisure industry.
Location: Central London (Hybrid 2–3 days/week, open to remote)
Contract: 2+ months, with strong potential for extension
Start: ASAP
Working as part of a collaborative team of developers, product managers, and fellow QAs, you’ll contribute to multiple projects across various travel booking platforms. You’ll focus primarily on automation testing, with some manual testing as needed, helping to ensure reliability and performance across diverse products in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test suites across multiple projects and platforms
- Contribute to manual testing when required to ensure complete coverage
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify issues and improve product quality
- Maintain and improve QA documentation, workflows, and reporting
- Drive continuous improvements in testing processes and tooling
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Senior QA Engineer, ideally within a start‑up or scale‑up environment
- Strong background in test automation, with hands‑on experience using relevant frameworks and tools
- Experience with GitHub, Jira, and other QA and CI/CD tools
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset
- Eligible to work in your current location (RTW required)
Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):
- Previous experience in travel booking systems, e‑commerce, or web applications
- Exposure to start‑up or scale‑up environments
- Familiarity with the challenges of large‑scale, customer‑facing software platforms
