Overview

A major civil engineering and water contractor is seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a new trunk water main project valued at £15M. The project has a minimum of two years to run and is administered under NEC terms and conditions. This Senior Quantity Surveyor is a hybrid working role and will be based in Oxfordshire or Berkshire two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Commercial Manager with responsibilities across the full range of post-contract duties, including cost reporting and budgetary management.
• Work with the Project Manager to identify risks and opportunities in the sub programme.
• Management of supplier and sub-contractor accounts.
• Provide leadership and support to junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educated with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven, stable career history with recognised contractors on civil engineering, infrastructure or utility contracts.
• Thorough working knowledge of NEC contracts.
