Senior Quality Assurance Manager - Coke and Refinery (Technical Assessor). Contract role. Location: Remote, UK coverage.
We are looking for a Technical Assessor with experience of manufacturing coke oven products. Our external Technical Assessors play a pivotal role in the UKAS assessment process, providing essential expertise to deliver robust assessments in Coke and Refinery.

Responsibilities
- Manufacture of coke oven products, production of coke and semi-coke, production of pitch and pitch coke, production of oven gas, production of crude coal and lignite tars and agglomeration of coke.
- Appreciation/understanding of the manufacturing of coke and refined petroleum products and the relevant environmental aspects and impact.
- Production of motor fuel, gasoline, kerosene etc.
- Production of fuel: light, medium and heavy fuel oil, refinery gases such as ethane, propane, butane etc.
- Manufacture of oil-based products for the petrochemical industry and for the manufacture of road coverings
- Manufacture of petroleum briquettes
- Blending of biofuels.

Qualifications
To be successful in this position it is required to have a degree in organic chemistry, but extensive experience in the field will also be considered.
