As Senior Quant Analytics Data Manager, you will play a key leadership role—partnering with Product Managers across OTC Market Data, Benchmarks & Indices, and Trading Analytics. Your expertise will help shape strategy, deliver innovative solutions, and drive the next wave of product growth.
What will you do?
- Innovate Products: Partner with Product Managers across OTC market data, benchmarks & indices, regulatory solutions, and trading analytics to design and prototype new data-driven products.
- Bridge Business & Tech: Translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions, working closely with engineering and development teams.
- Drive Strategy: Provide actionable insights on product feasibility, technical design, and data needs that directly influence product direction.
- Unlock New Opportunities: Support commercial and sales teams by identifying innovative product ideas, leveraging internal and external datasets.
- Collaborate with Experts: Work with TP ICAP’s Quantitative Analytics team to prototype pricing models requiring deep financial expertise.
- Be a Data Hunter: Source, integrate, and refine high-value datasets—including transactional and indicative data—from both internal platforms and third-party systems.
- Simplify Complexity: Communicate advanced data science and quantitative concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead with Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on advanced data workflows and analytics solutions for capital markets and energy/commodity sectors.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest advances in data science, machine learning, and quantitative analytics.
What is your ideal background?
- Advanced Python programming skills for data analysis, modelling, and prototyping.
- Proven ability to build and calibrate pricing models for OTC derivatives and cash instruments (interest rate swaps, FX options, credit derivatives, fixed income).
- Deep knowledge of OTC and cash market instruments, risk management practices, and pricing conventions (especially in Interest Rates, FX, Credit, and Energy).
- Ability to extract insights from structured data formats (e.g. JSON).
- Practical experience applying machine learning techniques to real-world financial problems.
The ideal candidate will be at a Mid-Senior level, with a Full-time employment type, working in Information Technology.
