Sheridan Maine is proud to partner with a leading west Dorset-based organisation, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation. Our client is seeking a talented Senior Reporting & Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team.

As a Senior Reporting & Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights to support decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close and reporting duties, including financial analysis and monthly reporting.
• Prepare journals and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate weekly reporting requirements for the business.
• Support the business with budget and forecast presentations.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and R&D tax calculations monthly.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Senior Finance team.

Qualifications:

• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to operate and influence at a senior level.
