Senior Research Executive, Mixed Methods – Technology and IT Newbury, Berkshire (hybrid, 2 days in the office) Specialist consultancy providing robust and rigorous research and insight seeks an experienced quantitative researcher to join their established, vibrant team and support their continuing growth. You will be working with global household name technology companies and their communications agencies across a range of topic areas including thought leadership, market metrics, brand engagement and customer research to support their global marketing campaigns. Working closely with clients, colleagues in your consultancy division and the operations team, this is a broad role, designing research, overseeing the running of projects and delivering results for clients. Your quantitative project related experience within market research will include knowledge of a range of quantitative research methods including questionnaire design, a proven track record of creating online surveys and/or working with quantitative data, accurate data analysis and story‑telling to create meaningful reports for clients. Responsibilities
Design, develop and oversee the execution of quantitative research projects for technology and IT clients. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research insights into actionable recommendations for marketing strategy and brand engagement. Lead the creation of online surveys, manage data collection, perform rigorous data analysis and produce clear, visual reports for clients. Maintain an innovative approach to mixed‑methods research and stay current with emerging methodologies in technology and IT markets. Support knowledge sharing and learning within the research team and contribute to professional development of junior researchers.
Qualifications
Associate level research background with demonstrated quantitative research expertise. Full‑time commitment enabling presence in office 2 days per week (hybrid flexibility). All‑office attendance is preferred but full‑time hybrid is acceptable. Proficiency in questionnaire design, online survey development and quantitative data storytelling. Excellent analytical, communication and storytelling skills to translate research findings into actionable insights. Strong internal collaboration skills; working closely with clients, internal teams and the operations function.
