We are working for a high-growth FinTech scale-up seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Director with a strong focus on new business acquisition to join the sales team as an individual contributor. The company provide mission-critical solutions to investment banks globally within a specialized and highly profitable niche.
With revenues approaching €100M, robust double-digit growth, and substantial EBITDA, they are a highly profitable firm. The financial stability is further strengthened by a strategic investment received in 2024 from a major US-based Private Equity firm (AUM $60B+).
This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a significant go-to-market transformation. A newly appointed CRO is leading the charge to revolutionize the sales strategy, creating an unparalleled chance for a proven "hunter" to shape and drive substantial new business growth.
Deal values typically range from €300K ACV up to multi-million Euro transactions.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through a "hunter" approach, identifying and securing high-value clients.
- Execute complex business value selling to multi-level decision-makers, including C-suite executives, within investment banks.
- Apply and champion MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar advanced sales methodologies consistently.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to maximize new revenue opportunities.
- Travel approximately 50% across EMEA (including the Middle East) to engage with key banking clients.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in new business development and exceeding sales targets in a senior sales role.
- Mandatory expertise and practical application of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or comparable complex sales methodologies.
- Experience in building and executing strategic account plans.
- Ability to engage effectively with C-suite and other senior stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the EMEA region (~50%).
- Experience in the banking sector is a plus, but NOT essential.
